• Aspergillus- Aspergillus is commonly found in HVAC systems and on food. When people breathe in large amounts of Aspergillus, they can end up with lung infections or allergic reactions. People with weakened immune systems are the most likely to have serious reactions to this type of mold.
• Cladosporium- If you have mold on the back of a toilet, on fiberglass air ducts, or on painted surfaces, it is likely Cladosporium. Some people have reactions to this mold as soon as they are exposed, while others aren’t impacted until they have been exposed to it for a long period of time. Over time, it can cause people to develop issues with allergies and asthma.
• Stachybotrys Atra- Stachybotrys atra, commonly known as black mold, grows on materials that have a low nitrogen and high cellulose content. Exposure to black mold can cause cold-like symptoms, rashes, conjunctivitis, and difficulties concentrating. It can also make asthma symptoms worse.
